Targeted therapy has brought based on recognizing the importance of acquired gene driver mutations, such as epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations, kristen rat sarcoma (KRAS) mutations and anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) rearrangements, in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) new hope to patients with these gene mutations.
