PTCL, of which the primary subtypes include anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) (25%), angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (33%), and PTCL-NOS (40%), are aggressive lymphomas with poor long-term survival of 35% at 5 years outside of ALK+ ALCL (5–7). Here, ALK is linked to mature T-cell and NK-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
