Interestingly, despite TNF elevation were observed in other clinical studies of severe COVID‐19 patients (Robinson et al., 2020), we found significant depletion of TNF in CD4+ T cells in the presence of pre‐13 days COVID‐19 EVs, suggesting serum EVs from early phase of COVID‐19 are suppressive for TNF production in CD4+ T cells. The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is COVID-19.
