In this multicenter prospective study carried out in patients with recent-onset PsA, assessed at baseline before the potential modification of its natural history because of the treatment prescribed by a rheumatologist, an artificial intelligence–based analysis revealed 6 variables that could predict severe disease on the following year’s visit: pain, treatment with synthetic DMARDs, clinical form at diagnosis, high CRP value, arterial hypertension, and psoriasis affecting the gluteal cleft and/or perianal area. The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is psoriasis.
