CTNNA2 and cancer: The comparison of the above- mentioned genes with a list of 5,186 known AR-regulated genes (Additional file 3: Table S3), showed that nine (ZBTB16, KLK3, IGF1, NKX3-1, CTNNA2, CXCL12, WNT6, WNT10B, and BCL2) out of the 14 cancer-related genes are known to be AR-regulated, whereas the rest five (ADCY2, LAMA3, LAMC2, RARB, and PTGER3) are identified here as newly AR-regulated candidates.
