In the present study (Fig. 2), we found that the relationship between glucose and severe SIRS was non-linear (after adjusting gender, age of surgery, age category of surgery, body surface area, BMI, surgery year, preoperative hemoglobin, residence altitude, hemodynamic pathology, extracardiac malformations, genetic anomalies, clinical pathway implementation, pulmonary arterial hypertension, aorta crossclamp time, red cell need, steroids need glucose infusion, insulin need, aristotle complexity score, aristotle complexity level). The gene discussed is INS; the disease is pulmonary arterial hypertension.
