All 114 cases in this study had FPAs with endocrinologically confirmed excess hormone secretion showing ACTH-dependent hypercortisolism (Cushing’s disease) in 23 cases (20%), growth hormone–related acromegaly in 56 cases (49%), and hyperprolactinemia caused by prolactinoma in 35 cases (31%), respectively. The gene discussed is GH1; the disease is acromegaly.
