Recently, Kridin et al. conducted a population-based cohort study in Israel to evaluate the risk of COVID-19 infection, COVID-19-associated hospitalization, and mortality among patients with psoriasis treated by TNF alpha inhibitors compared with psoriatic patients receiving other systemic agents; in detail, psoriatic patients under treatment with TNF alpha inhibitors (n = 1943), with those treated by methotrexate (n = 1929), ustekinumab (n = 348), and acitretin (n = 1892) concerning all previously mentioned COVID-19 outcomes.
