IL2 and psoriasis: Some authors hypothesize that psoriasis inflammation is linked to the virus’ production of inflammation-related cytokines, including IL-2, -7, and -10, granulocyte-colony stimulating factor, interferon-inducible protein 10, monocyte chemoattractant protein 1, macrophage inflammatory protein 1 alpha, and tumor necrosis factor α (TNFα) [10], all of which are known molecules in the development of psoriatic disease.
