PLAT and breast carcinoma: Table 6 shows the odds ratio (OR) of recurrent breast cancer according to fibrinolytic parameters. It was found that only t-PA antigen significantly contributed to the disease-free survival. An increase of 1 ng/mL in t-PA antigen level was found to reduce the risk of breast cancer relapse by 0.06 (OR) (95% CI = 0.01 to 0.68; p = 0.0209).
