IBD induced a subtle rise in mean IL-23 levels in colon tissues on day 2 with a significant rise from 13.19 ± 1.9 to 26.89 ± 2.5 and 20.25 ± 2.0 mg/mg of protein on days 4 and 7 of IBD, respectively (control, no LYCO, n = 6). Here, IL37 is linked to inflammatory bowel disease.
