A subgroup analysis of the wild-type cohort into BRAF V600, NRAS Q61, NF1 and Triple-WT showed that ARID1A mutated melanomas exhibit higher amounts of mutations compared to all other melanoma subtypes (mean number of mutations: ARID1Amut [19.6], BRAF V600mut [3.4], NRAS Q61mut [3.9], NF1mut [5.0], Triple-WT [2.4]) (Figure 1B). This evidence concerns the gene ARID1A and melanoma.
