No significant differences in terms of clinical and biological characteristics were observed between patients first given BRAF ± MEKi followed by CPI therapy (group 1) vs. patients starting with CPI therapy and subsequent BRAF ± MEKi therapy (group 2), although there was a trend that patients with front-line BRAF ± MEKi therapy more often presented with thicker and ulcerated (p = 0.032) melanomas. The gene discussed is BRAF; the disease is melanoma.
