We have recently reported that H19 was the most highly expressed (82.4-fold) ncRNA in a lung metastasis-derived human PDAC cell line, compared to the parental PDAC cell line PANC-1, and that H19 inhibition decreased lung and liver metastases in immunodeficient NOG mice [44]; thus, H19 is expected to be a novel therapeutic target for pancreatic cancer metastasis. This evidence concerns the gene H19 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
