Munger et al. [266] used ML to determine significant biomarkers for non-calcified coronary burden in patients with psoriasis and concluded that factors such as apolipoprotein A1, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, total cholesterol, apolipoprotein B, and (hs-CRP) correlate positively with obesity, dyslipidemia, and inflammation, thereby contributing to the progression of atherosclerosis. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and metabolic syndrome.
