In recent studies, the expression of CD276 in bladder cancer tissue samples was investigated and a wide variety of CD276 staining intensities was found in both the pathologically benign-appearing samples from bladder cancer patients (score 0 to approx. 150) in comparison to pathologically define malignant areas (score 0–300) confirming previous studies [9,50]. The gene discussed is CD276; the disease is urinary bladder cancer.
