In line with what was observed in compound A-treated animals, a two-way ANOVA assessing GFAP+ve staining in the IL region of vehicle- and compound G-treated animals revealed a significant overall effect of stroke (F1,33 = 47.08, p < 0.0001) but not compound G treatment or an interaction between these factors (Figure 7C). The gene discussed is GFAP; the disease is stroke disorder.
