A two-way ANOVA assessing GFAP+ve staining in the PI of vehicle- and compound G-treated animals reported a significant overall effect of stroke (F1,33 = 143.3, p < 0.0001), compound G treatment (F1,33 = 4.404, p = 0.0436) and an interaction between these two factors (F1,33 = 10.08, p = 0.0032; Figure 7A). Here, GFAP is linked to stroke disorder.
