GFAP and stroke disorder: Consistent with what was seen in PI GFAP+ve staining above, post-hoc comparisons confirmed that compound G treatment, with (208,985 ± 58,936; p = 0.0019) or without rhBDNF (p = 0.0002), significantly dampened the stroke-induced upregulation in GFAP+ve expression in the CC, relative to vehicle-treated control animals.
