However, CDDP could rescue the selenium-caused microphthalmia defects to almost normal levels (Figure 6A,B), and its supplementation increased the expression of cyp3a65, gnat2, opn1sw1, pde6a, rbp3 and rp1l1b in selenium-stressed embryos at 96 hpf (Figure 6D).
