An explorative analysis of K-MPdb in other cancers (supplementary Figure S1), showed that for lung carcinoma a high expression level of ADORA2B transcript is associated with bad prognosis, in opposition with ovarian carcinoma; while for breast and gastric carcinoma, no differences between low or high level of the transcript were observed, suggesting that the contribution of A2B receptor to patient survival is tissue-specific and cancer subtype-specific. The gene discussed is ADORA2B; the disease is lung carcinoma.
