Collectively, we analyzed data by bioinformatics methods to identify HGD and GSTZ1 as biomarkers of KIRC from a metabolic perspective, and their expression changes altered the energy-producing pathways of tumor cell growth and proliferation, affecting cell cycle and tumor progression, which will provide important help for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of renal cell carcinoma. This evidence concerns the gene GSTZ1 and renal cell carcinoma.
