Lunardi et al. found that the expression of CXCR3 in pancreatic cancer tissues is associated with tumor metastasis and poor prognosis [34].In the tumor microenvironment, it has been demonstrated that the CXCR3 signaling pathway can activate anti-tumor effector T cells and other immune cells such as NK cells, turning a “cold” tumor into a “hot” tumor and improving anti-tumor immunity. The gene discussed is CXCR3; the disease is pancreatic neoplasm.
