Given the known function of DMDRMR and miR-378a-5p in ccRCC [7, 36], and angiogenesis has been shown to be responsible for tumor growth and metastasis [38], we also explored whether the DMDRMR/miR-378a-5p/DAB2IP axis regulates the cell proliferation, migration, invasion of ccRCC and found that DMDRMR KD partially abrogated the stimulative effect of miR-378a-5p inhibitor and DAB2IP KD on these phenotypes (Fig. S10A–F), suggesting that DMDRMR promotes the cell proliferation, migration, invasion of ccRCC through selectively repressing miR-378a-5p and DAB2IP. This evidence concerns the gene DAB2IP and neoplasm.
