Ripk3 activation can also be stimulated by interferon (Ifn), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), toll-like receptor (Tlr) signaling, or viral infection by inducing the interaction of Ripk3 with other RHIM proteins, including DNA-dependent activator of Ifn-regulatory factors (Dai), also known as Zbp1, and Tir-domain-containing adapter-inducing Ifn-β (Trif), also known as Ticam1 (Brault et al., 2018; Kaiser et al., 2013; Schock et al., 2017; Upton et al., 2012). The gene discussed is RIPK3; the disease is viral infectious disease.
