LLGL1 has been implicated to play oncogenic roles in various types of malignancies, such as pancreatic ductal carcinoma (Zhu et al., 2020), non-small-cell lung cancer (Yang et al., 2016), gliomas (Liu et al., 2015), and esophageal cancer (Song et al., 2013), by regulating cell proliferation, invasion, apoptosis, and drug resistance.
