LLGL1 has been implicated to play oncogenic roles in various types of malignancies, such as pancreatic ductal carcinoma (Zhu et al., 2020), non-small-cell lung cancer (Yang et al., 2016), gliomas (Liu et al., 2015), and esophageal cancer (Song et al., 2013), by regulating cell proliferation, invasion, apoptosis, and drug resistance. This evidence concerns the gene LLGL1 and esophageal cancer.
