CD8A and major depressive disorder: The fractions of IICs among 45 samples (24 controls and 21 MDD samples) from the GSE39653 dataset were evaluated, and the results showed that B cell memory (p < 0.01) and CD8+ T cells (p < 0.05) were significantly lower in MDD samples than in the control group; naive B cells (p < 0.05) were significantly overexpressed in MDD samples (Supplementary Figure S4, Supplementary Table S2).
