Archival tissue was more than 60% lower in MKi67+CD8+ T-cells than fresh tissue (GMR =0.35, 95%CI: 0.214 to 0.56) and prior cancer treatment with a hormone therapy was also associated with approximately 84% lower levels of proliferating CD8 T-cells (95%CI: 0.049 to 0.55) compared to tissue from patients who did not receive hormone therapy. Here, MKI67 is linked to cancer.
