The average Cav-1 levels of patients with MMD (without the RNF213 mutation) was 581.56 ± 357.63 pg/ml, which was much higher than age-matched controls (221.52 ± 131.63 pg/ml, p < 0.001), but lower than the acute stroke group (891.27 ± 489.38 pg/ml, p < 0.001, Figure 1A). This evidence concerns the gene RNF213 and multiminicore myopathy.
