Interestingly, Feng GE et al. [38] recently reported that the EphA2 receptor plays an essential role in LPS-induced ALI and EphA2 antagonism and has protective effects against LPS-induced ALI via the Nrf2/HO-1, TLR4/MyD88 and RhoA/ROCK pathways. This evidence concerns the gene EPHA2 and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
