Immunohistochemical results showed that PAX8 was expressed in both ovarian cysts and ovarian cancer tissues, and the expression in ovarian cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in the para-cancer control group (Figure 1(b)), that is, PAX8 was highly expressed in ovarian epithelial cancer tissues, which was consistent with the results of real-time quantitative PCR. This evidence concerns the gene PAX8 and cancer.
