Next, among the top 20 upregulated genes by G-CSF, genes associated with poor prognosis (Logrank p < 0.05) in more than four cancers, including Nos2, proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (Pcsk9), PRKC apoptosis WT1 regulator (Pawr), and gamma-glutamyltransferase 1 (Ggt1), were identified as candidate factors involved in the immunosuppressive ability of MDSCs using the GEPIA web server (Tang et al., 2017) (Supplementary Figure S1).
