A case-control study from Saudi Arabia showed that patients with TLR4-rs4986790 (A > G), TLR4-rs4986791 (C > T), and TLR10-rs10004195 (A > T) have a significant association with H. pylori infection, and TLR9-rs352140 (C > T) is connected with H. pylori-associated chronic gastritis (Eed et al., 2020). Here, TLR4 is linked to chronic gastritis.
