PTH and migraine disorder: Given the persistence of continuous headaches in many patients and the clear overlap between symptoms of concussion (i.e., nausea, photo/phonophobia) and symptoms of headache in the acute phase post-injury, it is challenging to accurately characterize individual patients’ headache phenotypes as tension-type or migraine and, as such, we chose to describe the acute PTH characteristics noted rather than try to assign primary headache phenotype labels to individual patients.
