TP53 and neoplasm: In conclusion, although we are aware that our study displays some limitations, namely the study of maternal behavior in captivity, the lack of functional p53 that jeopardizes its contribution to the stress response,48 the metabolic effects of antagonizing OT and the possibility of an off‐targets activity of the drug acting on unpredictable mechanisms of tumorigenesis, we strongly believe that the findings presented here shed light on parental care role in spontaneous tumor development in the progeny.
