Compared with non-AKI patients, patients with AKI tended to be older and more frequently had GI bleeding and bacterial infections, higher heart rate, WBC count, total bilirubin (TBIL), INR, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), admission sCr, serum potassium, CTP, MELD, and MELD-Na scores, and lower albumin, eGFR and serum sodium values (P < 0.05) (Table 1).
