Rank‐rank hypergeometric overlap analysis (RRHO) tests show that m2 cluster marker genes are significantly overlapping with those of both activated (ACT) and white matter associated microglia (WAM) microglial phenotypes17 and to microglia associated with amyloid plaques in Alzheimer's disease models and DAM1/218, 24 (Table S8). This evidence concerns the gene BCAS2 and Alzheimer disease.
