TP53 alteration has been found to be associated with activated T-effector and interferon-γ signature and expression of immune checkpoints including PD-L14 and has been represented to be the potential biomarker for lung adenocarcinoma patients receiving immunotherapy.4 We believe the prognostic value of TP53 alteration for HNSCC patients receiving immunotherapy is worth further discussion.
