Wilcoxon paired signed-rank test detailed in Table 2 was used for evaluating the results: CD4+T lymphocytes in GC tissues were decreased than in the neighboring tissues (median 55.90 vs. 70.50, p = 0.004); the CD4+T/CD8+T percentage in carcinoma tissues was lesser in contrast to the normal adjacent tissues (median 0.84 vs. 1.11, p = 0.001); CD8+T and Foxp3+T lymphocyte count was elevated in malignant tissues as compared to that of the normal adjacent tissues (median 72.90 vs. 65.60, p = 0.038) and (median 29.00 vs. 16.00, p < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and carcinoma.
