Our study show reverted ratios of CD4+/CD8+ T cells in rectal cancer tissues and progressive disease (R vs. NR: 0.787 vs. 0.556, p < 0.05; progressive vs. stable: 0.83 vs. 1.83, p < 0.05) than normal value of around 2.0, which were also observed in cervical cancer [48] and breast cancer [49]. Here, CD4 is linked to rectal cancer.
