CTLA4 and prostate carcinoma: The CTLA4 mutation genotype revealed a 3.74-fold increase in the incidences of BC, suggesting that genetic differences in the CTLA4 gene are associated with BC susceptibility (Jaiswal et al., 2014).The upregulation of CTLA4 pathway was also found to be significant among the young cohort of prostate cancer patients and was linked to the biochemical recurrence (Ding et al., 2016).
