Although E2F4, E2F7, and E2F8 did not show a significant effect on either diagnosis or prognosis, some studies have reported that activated E2F4 can minimize the proliferation of PCa cells in response to radiation (Crosby et al., 2007) and is involved in the progression of PCa (Yang et al., 2008).
