These published papers provide ample evidence that curcumin is a promising protective agent against vascular dysfunction induced by PAH and arterial hypertension, such as primary hypertension, renovascular hypertension, salt sensitive hypertension, L-NAME-induced hypertension, angiotensin II (Ang II)-induced hypertension, 5/6 nephrectomy-induced systemic hypertension, and cadmium-induced hypertension. This evidence concerns the gene AGT and pulmonary arterial hypertension.
