NFKB1 and arthritic joint disease: Most relevant to the current study, the synthetic NR4A2 agonist 1,1-bis(3′-indolyl)-1-(p-chlorophenyl) methane (C-DIM12) blocked TNF-α induction of adhesion molecules and NF-κB regulated genes in primary murine synovial fibroblasts (Afzali et al., 2018), suggesting that this agent may be a candidate for in vivo testing in arthritis models.
