Data from our study was consistent with the results, suggesting that osimertinib was the most favorable regimen in terms of PFS in all advanced EGFR-mutated NSCLC patients and also in elderly patients who were ≥ 65 years old, and a combination of SoC and pemetrexed based chemotherapy was superior compared to other regimen in non-elderly patients who were < 65 years old. The gene discussed is EGFR; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
