However, the single-marker test has higher AUC values (0.910–0.937) than most of those for multigene panels (0.86 for GHSR/MAL, 0.919 for OTX1/SOX1-OT, 0.881–0.889 for VIM/OSTM1/SLC4A10/AC092805.1/ ONECUT2, 0.898–0.935 for ONECUT2/VIM, and 0.817 for EpiCheck [23]), indicating that the methylation test is adequately sensitive and substantially accurate in risk prediction for BC.
