GATA3 expression in ONBs expands the spectrum of GATA3-positive neoplasms, which encompasses both epithelial and non-epithelial proliferations, including neuroectoderm-derived neoplasms, such as neuroblastoma, ganglioneuroblastoma, and ganglioneuroma, as well as pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma [28, 29], these latter considered as non-epithelial NENs [19]. This evidence concerns the gene GATA3 and hereditary pheochromocytoma-paraganglioma.
