Studies have reported that programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD‐L1) and tumor mutational burden (TMB) are independent predictors of response to immunotherapy in patients with non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC),6, 7 so both PD‐L1 and TMB are promising as biomarkers for the effectiveness of immune checkpoint inhibitors. Here, CD274 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
