Hyperglycemia weakens the glomerular filtration barrier, causes glomerular damage, and leads to albumin leakage, which exacerbates DN.40 Scr and SUN levels in renal lesions or dysfunctions were generally elevated, suggesting that hyperglycemia can lead to renal damage.41 Consistent with those interpretations, our study showed decreases in Scr, SUN, urine volume and albuminuria. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and Hyperglycemia.
