In summary, these results show the relationship between the inhibitory effect of cAMP on apoptosis and DNA damage-induced p53 accumulation, BAX induction, and cleavage of caspase-3, demonstrating that ADRB1-mediated cAMP production negatively regulates DNA damage-induced apoptosis of the BRCA1-deficient ovarian cancer cells. Here, TP53 is linked to ovarian carcinoma.
