Li et al. revealed that knockdown of SAPCD2 expression in RCC cells inhibited cell proliferation and invasion 27, and they demonstrated that SAPCD2 knockdown in RCC cells significantly stimulated the expression of E-cadherin, repressed the expression of N-cadherin, and decreased the activation of β-catenin in vitro27. Here, SAPCD2 is linked to renal cell carcinoma.
