Emerging evidence has supported that the expression level of SAPCD2 may be a useful prognostic indicator of several different types of cancers, including gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, melanoma, renal cell carcinoma, nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), lung cancer, and breast cancer. Here, SAPCD2 is linked to hereditary clear cell renal cell carcinoma.
