EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma: A large sample study including 849 patients with NSCLC showed that low SUVmax of the primary tumor, lymph node, and distant metastasis were associated significantly with EGFR mutations (24), whereas another study presented opposite results that high SUVmax (≥6.0) of the primary tumor was more likely to have EGFR mutations in NSCLC (25).
