In this study, Panx1, three Cx32 isoforms and Cx43 were identified and characterized in L. maculatus, which were named LmPanx1, LmCx32.2, LmCx32.3, LmCx32.7, and LmCx43, and gene expression was analyzed by PAMP [lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and poly(I:C)] stimulation or bacterial infection in vivo and in vitro using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). Here, GJB1 is linked to bacterial infectious disease.
